Fundraising event 2019 Misterhood for the Sisterhood Campaign
Our Priceline and Priceline Pharmacy teams raised over $1.3 million in just six weeks!
Each year, Priceline holds a fundraising campaign in stores to raise money for the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation. The 2019 campaign saw cricket legend Merv Hughes rally some of his mates to raise $1.3 million, beating last year’s total of $1.1 million.
AFL greats Glen Jakovich, Dermott Brereton and Tony Modra, and NRL stars Billy Moore and Braith Anasta all represented their home state and encouraged stores to raise the most funds.
“Misterhood for the Sisterhood shows that women’s health isn’t just a women’s issue, and it’s amazing to see so many people come together to support a great cause," Hughes says.
"The Misters and I partnered with Priceline Pharmacy on this campaign because we believe it’s important for blokes to get on board and support the cause – women’s health is everyone’s issue. As a son, husband and father, I know how important it is to support charities that help women and their families.”
Customers were encouraged to head into their local Priceline Pharmacy and purchase a $2 Scratch-and-Win ticket for a one-in-two chance of winning a prize, or donate directly in store.
